The Housing Opportunity Committee is a group of realtors like myself.  We are members of RRAR.  Our mission statement is to promote and educate Home Buyers about opportunities for buying homes and ways to maintain ownership.  The vision simply is for realtors to get involved in the community and act as a conduit in serving the needs of the consumer.

I was one of 7-8 volunteers involved in a recent telethon.  The event consisted of a panel of realtors.  Our job was to answer regular questions from buyers or sellers that called in.  Similar to what we do one-on-one.  The phone bank took place at a local television news station (NBC-17) in the area.  I believe this was the first telethon of this nature.  I got to answer roughly 4 questions from a caller.  My coaching techniques helped when I had to listen, repeat and affirm.  I was very confident that I could answer questions and do a good job.  I attribute a lot to what I've been taught in your coaching sessions.

Since joining you as my coach, I've obtained my ABR designation from REBAC.  I thought you might want to know.
